HOPE – A hearty crew from Hope’s First Presbyterian Church held their annual Souper Bowl of Caring, a food drive to benefit Hope In Action, on Friday and Saturday.
Kathleen Hignight, Pastor of the church, stated Saturday morning that the group had raised approximately $700 of their goal of $1,000 and about 376 pounds of donated food so far. All proceeds – monetary and non-perishable foods – will go to Hope In Action.
If you missed this weekend’s Souper Bowl, you can still donate at the church, located at 701 South Main Street.
