Kiwanis Club Hears Program On Clinton National Historic Site

HOPE – The Hipe Kiwanis Club heard a program from Tarona Armstrong on Tuesday, February 14th. Armstrong is the Superintendent of the William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site.

Armstron noted that the site is one of seven National Park Sites in Arkansas. She also noted that the facility has rebounded from a fire which was set in the early morning hours of Christmas 2015 and that it now has several extra security measures in place.

Armstrong stated that the site generally draws between 10,000 and 11,000 visitors to Hope annually.image
