PRESCOTT – Nevada County Library’s conference room was packed with well-wishers for Terri Vandiver, who retired as librarian after six years.
Prior to becoming librarian, Vandiver worked with the Prescott School District for 28 years, both as a teacher, ALE director and with special education.
“Now I’ll have time to enjoy my grandchildren and family,” she said of retiring, “and I can finish some projects I’ve started.”
Vandiver said she’s not finished with the library, and will remain as a member of the Nevada County Library Board and the Southwest Arkansas Regional Library Board. “I’m here to support the library,” she said. “I loved working at the library.”
