HOPE – Attendees at the National Day of Prayer observances on the lawn in front of the Hempstead County Courthouse prayed for the future of the City of Hope, Hempstead County, and the nation.
Speaker Juan Ruiz invoked Hope by saying, “Lord, we ask you to use your power for our people and that you redeem us with your blood. Dear Lord, I also ask that our President help this nation, this state, and the people of Hope.” (Translated from Spanish).
