Hope High School Announces ‘Strive For Five’ Qualifiers
HOPE – Students who were exemption qualified from semester tests at Hope High School as a result of having five or fewer absences for the grading period have been announced.
The Strive for Five initiative was recognized on the HHS campus during the Spring 2017 semester by having qualifying students exempted from final exams. Students who needed to improve semester grades by including semester testing were given the opportunity to do so, according to Mike Radebaugh, HHS assistant principal.
Strive for Five qualifiers by class included:
Freshmen – Dewayne Allen, Luis Azanza, Jose Baeza, Dylan Barton, Jacqueline Culley, Israel Gallegos, Gracie Gilbert, Lavon Glover, Kaley Green, Maggie Haynes, Kaitlynn Hooker, De’Travonta Horton, Toby Huckabee, Ruby Lopez, Leasly Luna, Margaret Mayberry, Jared McKamie, Evelyn Medina, Kevin Morales, Andrea Nava, Kenia Nava, Tre’sean Ogden, Daniela Piza, Miyaunna Purifoy, Giovanni Randle, Shardae Reynolds, Damien Richmond, Kathy Rogel, Omar Salazar, Jose Salgado, Christopher Torres, and Gia Ventura.
