Deadline nears for Color 5K

PRESCOTT – This year’s Fall Festival will include a Color 5K on Oct. 14.

The deadline for this race is nearing. The deadline is Oct. 6 at 4:30 p.m. for those who want to register early. Anyone who registers early will pay a $25 fee which includes a t-shirt. Late registration and registration the day of the race will be $30 and doesn’t include a t-shirt.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. in front of Mac’s Tire and Home, with the race starting at 8 o’clock. The fun run/walk is set to begin at 8:10 a.m. Those who register early can pick up their race packets at the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 11-12 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The packet includes a t-shirt, racing bib, color packet and details of the race.

Age groups for the run are: 0-9; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29;30-39; 40-49; and 50 and up. For more information, call Jamie Hillery at 870-870-2101.
