Wolves host Piggott in playoff opener
PRESCOTT – Friday night kicks off post season action for high school football.
Prescott will be at home, hosting Piggott. This will be the only home game for the Wolves throughout the playoffs. The Wolves are at the bottom of the lower left quadrant on the bracket and will have an uphill climb as they try to make a repeat performance of last year and bring home as second consecutive state title.
In the upper left part of the bracket, Junction City gets the week off with a bye. However, Harding Academy will host Centerpoint and Hoxie will entertain Harmony Grove.
The lower left portion has Charlestone at home against Mountain Home, Barton hosting Paris and Prescott working to end Piggott’s season.
The upper right has Mayflower with a bye Friday night, while Smackover takes on Lamar, Rivercrest tangles with Bald Knob and Melbourne plays Perryville.
The lower right has Glen Rose hosting Newport, McGehee taking on Horatio, Elkins playing Fordyce and Atkins against Yellville Summitt.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
