Governor Huckabee to Headline at Rotary Club Centennial Celebration

HOPE- The Hope Rotary Club is hosting a Centennial celebration with Governor Mike Huckabee as a special guest. The event will take place at Hempstead Hall on January 27 starting at 6:30pm.

With the 100 year celebration they brought in the Huckabee who is the scholarship recipient of 1973. Mr. Huckabee will give a few words during the celebration. The event will include a meal along with a recap of the past 100 years.

During the Celebration, the Hope Rotary Club will award the “Hope Rotary Club Governor Mike Huckabee Servant Leadership Scholarship” to one graduating senior at each of the Hempstead County high schools — Hope High School, Blevins High School, Spring Hill High School and Garrett Memorial Christian School.  Scholarship applications and criteria are available in the Counselor’s Offices in each school.
