Hempstead County Lincoln Day Dinner

A crowd of about 150 people attended the Hempstead County Republican Party’s annual “Lincoln Day Dinner” on Monday February 20th. The event was emceed by Sara Darling. The special gues speaker was 4th District Congressman Bruce Westerman and the keynote speaker was Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge. Both drew enthusiastic applause. The Congressman talked about the issues he sees in Congress and how he works to serve the citizens of the 4th District. Rutledge talked about her efforts work on issues she thinks are important to Arkansans. The event also featured an auction conducted by Ed Flagg as well as a silent auction.
