PPD makes several drug arrests
PRESCOTT – On February 9, Patrol Officer Wright conducted a traffic stop, at E. 5th and E. Pine St. The driver identified as Amous Walker was found to be in possession of marijuana.
On February 15, Det. Ferguson conducted a traffic stop, on Hwy. 371 W. The driver, identified as Ty Lavender, was arrested for a felony narcotic warrant and found to be in possession of methamphetamine, scales and a methamphetamine pipe.
On February 19, Det. Ferguson and PTL Morris conducted a traffic stop, on W. 1st St. N. The driver, identified as Gaven Bostic was found to be in possession of tramadol.
On February 27, Det. Ferguson and PTL Morris conducted a traffic stop, on W. Olive St. The vehicle was occupied by Brittney Armstrong and Dwight Hopson Jr. Marijuana was found in the vehicle.
From January 1, 2018 through February 28, the Prescott Police Department has seized approximately 130 grams of narcotics (Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, Tramadol and Marijuana) and effected 18 arrests.
