Todd running for city concil

“My name is Carolyn Todd. I am a candidate for City Council Ward 2 Position 2. I am a lifelong resident of Prescott, Arkansas. I am currently employed with Hempstead County Dept. of Human Services of Hope as a Program Eligibility Supervisor. In my capacity as supervisor at DHS, I am privileged to serve as a mentor and advocate for the individual we help. I have had the privilege of serving the public for over 30 years. I am a faithful member of Ward Chapel AME church where I am a member of the Steward Board and choir.

I want to work as an advocate for the citizens of Prescott. I believe that my experience with working with the public would only enhance my ability and willingness to serve the citizens of Nevada County. Resources can be enhanced to provide and organize more activities to capture the attention of our youth through team work with the other councilmen. It is important to set an example for our youth, who will one day be in the leadership roles in our community.

I would be an excellent candidate for this position and would aim to make the citizens proud. In the upcoming election, I ask that you vote for change, vote Carolyn Todd.”
