Special Olympics jamboree Saturday

HOPE – Rainbow of Challenges (ROC) will host a track and field jamboree for the Special Olympics Area 11 games on Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Hope High School Sports Complex. The jamboree is designed to establish distances and times for the athletes competing in the upcoming area games. The Area 11 track and field games will be held on Saturday, April 21 at the Hope High track field. Also scheduled this Saturday is the Area 11 Bocce Ball games which will be held following the jamboree from 1–3p.m. at the HHS Sports Complex. The event will qualify athletes who will compete in the State Bocce games. Both events will be held rain or shine at the indoor complex.
