IZZYS 011PRESCOTT – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday morning for Izzy’s Place.

Three months ago, Izzy’s moved from its location on Hwy. 67 to its new location on Holly St., the former location of the Wolf Den and Oliver’s One Stop. The restaurant has been open almost four years and, according to owner, Jeremy Dickerson, the volume of business has just about doubled. The new location has more seating capacity than did the former site.

Dickerson said Izzy’s still offers delivery and catering. Some changes are in the works as he’ll soon be offering a small Sunday buffet, at least to start.

The ribbon cutting, he said, was to celebrate the move to the new location. Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver thanked Dickerson for choosing this location, saying it holds a special place for him as he spent half his life there. He lauded Dickerson for opening and maintaining a business in Prescott as well.
