The first ever Vietnam Veterans Parade was held Thursday March 29th in downtown Hope. The parade started at 6th and Elm and followed the Fair Parade Route. Veterans from a variety of generations participated as did numerous law enforcement agencies and fire departments. The parade was led by the Sheriff’s Department and Hope Police. A number of political candidates also participated. The parade received good comments and it is hoped it will be repeated next year. Ron Brown and Eddie Brazzel chaired the event
