Gibson honored at Library coffee

PRESCOTT – National Library Week was recognized with a community coffee Tueday morning at the Nevada County Library.

However, unlike most coffees, this one had something special. Joyce Gibson, former librarian, was honored for her years of service to the library and community. Members of her family were on hand for the unveiling of a picture of her that sits above the checkout desk in front of the library.

The community room was packed with visitors for the event, as was the lobby.
