Historical society meeting April 24

HOPE – The Hempstead County Historical Society will be holding a meeting on Tuesday evening April 24, at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

The evening program will be by local author Josh Williams. He will provide a presentation on the historical photographs of Washington taken over the years from the early 19^th century to the present and published in the “Images of America” series by Arcadia Publishing.

The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County. Come and share your history with us.
