Hope Lions Hear About UAHT FIsh Fry And Learn About “We Are Free”
The Hope Lions heard a rundown on the recent Lions/UAHT Fish Fry on Monday April 30th. Jill Bobo and Casey Curtis noted about 750 people were served and the event raised almost $1,000 more than than last year’s fish fry. Bo-Bo and Curtis thanked the Lions for their efforts on behalf of the college foundation.
The Lions also heard from Angeltn McMurray, President of *We Are Free”. The organization fights human trafficking and fosters survivors who escape from it. The organization is building an “aftercare” facility for survivors of human trafficking. The facility, Hebron Hills,is to be located on 45 acres in rural south Arkansas.
