Weighted Average Report for Thursday May 17, 2018

 

Cattle Receipts: 1121    Last week: 1086     Last year: 1233

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 4.00-10.00 lower.  Feeder heifers 5.00-

10.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady.  Slaughter bulls steady.

Supply included 634 feeder calves, 260 yearlings, 40 replacement cows, 164

slaughter cows; 23 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent

English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 25 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses.  Feeder supply included 53 percent steers and

bulls; 47 percent heifers.
