McCaskill Day Saturday
MCCASKILL – The City of McCaskill, Arkansas has scheduled its 4th Annual McCaskill Day Celebration for Saturday, June 2. The event will begin at 10 AM and conclude at 2 PM at the McCaskill Community Center.
This year’s event is in celebration of the Hempstead County Bicentennial. Therefore, attendees will have the opportunity to receive a Bicentennial Passport. McCaskill Community Calendars and “History of Redland Township” books will be available for purchase.
Music will be provided by DJ Jonathan Canaday. Lunch will be sold at $7 per plate. Included in the $7 will be a choice of a hamburger or two hot dogs, chips and cookies plus tea or lemonade.
Kathy Apodaca, with the City of McCaskill, said, “This is a family fun event. The day will be filled with food, fun, and door prizes. We are inviting families to mark this day on their calendar, and make plans to join in the fun.”
