RoC-Fest VI fun for all

HOPE – While the weather may have had the last word on the sixth annual ROC-Fest Carnival, there were no shortages of smiling faces making the most of the last day of school year.

ROC-Fest VI got underway at 2 p.m. at the Fair Park and there were plenty of bounce houses, games, and even a rock-climbing wall. Carnival food and drinks kept the kids refreshed while they raced to each attraction. Even the “Minions” and Dino’s made an appearance to keep the mood rocking. Despite a late-day shower, the event was deemed a success by event organizers. Special thanks go to the many sponsors who helped defray costs and to the countless volunteers who worked the event to make sure it was a fun and safe afternoon.
