Ruth Booker Stallworth was the fourth of twelve children born to the late Earnest and Edith Booker on March 28, 1928.  One brother and four sisters preceded her in death.

Ruth was a 1945 graduate of Oak Grove High School.  Following graduation, she moved to Detroit, Michigan.

She married Ben Earl Morgan, Sr., to this union two children were born.  After his death, she married Benny Stallworth.  After his passing, she returned to Hope in 1985.

Survivors include her children, LaQuita Miller of Stockton, CA, Jerry and Terry Bishop of Hope, AR, Wanda Koontz of Fulton, AR, Ben Earl Morgan, Jr. of Hope and Estelia Morgan of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, Juanita Booker of Milwaukee, WI, Gwen Breakfield of Omaha, NE, Hazel Simpson of Hope, AR; two brothers, Robert L. Booker of Hope, AR and Ted Booker of Edmond, OK; ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives.

Visitation will be 11am-5pm Friday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Haynes Chapel Baptist Church, Hope.  Burial will be at Azar Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
