Splash pad opens Friday

PRESCOTT – The long wait is nearly over.

Opening ceremonies for the Prescott Splash Pad will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Prescott City Park. There will be some short speeches, followed by the pressing of the button to turn on the water and officially open the splash pad.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. There is no charge. Once the pad is turned on, children are welcome to play to their hearts content.
