Cattle Receipts: 1562 Last week: NR Last year: 1195
Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers under 500 lbs 10.00-15.00 higher,
over 500 lbs 3.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady 3.00-6.00 higher.
Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls steady.
Supply included 925 feeder calves, 320 yearlings, 55 replacement cows, 234
slaughter cows; 28 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 37 percent
English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 28 percent
Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 53 percent steers and
bulls; 47 percent heifers.
