Mrs. Judy Karen Carlton, age 66 of Bodcaw passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Judy was born in Hope, Arkansas on February 2, 1952 to William Paul and Faye Reed Pettit.  She was a home maker and a beautician and a member of Union Baptist Church in Bodcaw. Judy enjoyed making pottery and doing craft work.  She was very devoted to her family, willing to travel or assist any family member that was in need.  Judy is preceded in death by her father William Paul Pettit, a brother Tony Pettit and a sister Dana Hallmark.

Survivors include; her mother Faye Tanner of Nashville, AR, her husband of 47 years Steve Carlton of Bodcaw, two sons; Jonathan Carlton, wife Angela and Casey Carlton wife, Josie all of Bodcaw, a daughter Gretchen Carlton Link husband Oliver of Bodcaw, a sister Tugi Myers husband Mat of Ozan, six grandchildren: Jordan Downs, Tyler Carlton, Seth Hughes, Garren Woodell, Tanner Woodell and Karleigh Carlton, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope.

 

Funeral service, 10:00am on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Brown and Bro. Jerry Evans officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Bodcaw.
