Cattle Receipts: 1269 Last week: 1340 Last year: NR
Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 400 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher, over 400
lbs 2.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 400 lbs 2.00-5.00 higher, over 400
lbs 2.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls
steady to 1.00 higher.
Supply included 723 feeder calves, 320 yearlings, 35 replacement cows, 150
slaughter cows; 41 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent
English and English crosses; 30 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 30 percent
Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 55 percent steers and
bulls; 45 percent heifers.
