Cattle Receipts: 1409 Last week: 1842 Last year: 757
Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 500 lbs steady to 2.00 lower, over
500 lbs 1.00-2.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows
steady. Slaughter bulls steady.
Supply included 720 feeder calves, 477 yearlings, 20 replacement cows, 167
slaughter cows; 25 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 35 percent
English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 30 percent
Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 58 percent steers and
bulls; 42 percent heifers. Near 15 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
