Hempstead County Veterans Honored In Courthouse Ceremony

The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs recently had a ceremony in Little Rock to honor Vietnam Era veterans for their service. Seven from Hempstead County were unable to attend the ceremony and four of those were honored at the Hempstead County Courthouse on Wednesday August 1st. Veterans Service Officer Leon Prince emceed the ceremony and made the presentations along with Hempstead County Judge Haskell Morse. Those honored included James Huckabee, Roger McClellan, Herbert Ross, and Ed Flagg.
