Chamber gearing up for busy season

PRESCOTT – It’s the time of year when the activities for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce kick it into high gear.

Things start off the day after school starts with a visit to Bluff City where there will be a ribbon cutting for Patriot Air. The event will be from 9:30-11 a.m. at city hall. Other events are listed through mid-October.

8/23 – 2018 Annual Chamber of Commerce Membership meeting. 12-1pm above the youth center.

9/6-16 Nevada County Fair.

9/6/18 Dalrymple Crain Community Coffee (Celebrating Carl’s 80th birthday) 9:30-11a.m. Stokes Center at Central Baptist

9/11 – Casa Carlos Re Grand Opening. Details to come.

9/20 Daughters of the American Revolution Community Coffee 9:30-11a.m. Library

9/27 Recycle Center Community Coffee 9:30-11a.m. at Library

9/29 NRA Banquet

Oct. 13th FALL FESTIVAL & TRADE DAYS

10/18 Flywheel Pies/ICM Community Coffee 9:30-11a.m. at their location, the former McRae Middle School cafeteria.

This is only a partial list as it doesn’t begin to include plans for the holidays, which are always packed.
