Cattle Receipts: 1281 Last week: 1721 Last year: 1908
Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers
2.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls steady.
Supply included 744 feeder calves, 380 yearlings, 20 replacement cows, 131
slaughter cows; 6 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 42 percent English
and English crosses; 38 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 20 percent Brahman
and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 53 percent steers and bulls; 47
percent heifers. Near 22 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
