Garage Sale a success

PRESCOTT – There were garage sales all over Prescott Saturday morning as people set up for Garage Sale Heaven on Hwy. 67.

People hit the sales early looking for the best bargains. However, with the sheer number, it was difficult to get to all of them and give the items for sale a good going over. Everything from clothes and kitchen ware, to weedeaters and knickknacks was available, along with quite a bit of furniture and some Christmas items.

There was pretty much something for almost everybody. One location had a 5,000 watt gas generator for sale, while another had a riding lawnmower. Sunglasses were on sale and would have came in handy in the bright sun. Rising temperatures didn’t slow people down from visiting the different locations either.
