Trio arrested on different charges

HOPE –  On October 1, at approximately 8:45 a.m., agents with the 8th North Task Force arrested Richard A. Rone, 32, of Hope, Arkansas with a warrant, for three counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine.  The arrest occurred in the 800 block of Mack Street in Hope, Arkansas.   Rone was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On Thursday, October 4, Williams Moritz, 44, of Hope was charged with one count of Felony Theft and two counts of misdemeanor theft.  Moritz was escorted to the Hempstead County Detention Facility for book in process. The charges were a result of an incident reported in April 2018.

On October 4, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers of the Hope Police Department responded to the 1300 block of South Bonner in reference to a breaking or entering into a motor vehicle. Officers located and arrested Kamorien Monk, 20, of Hope and a 17-year-old juvenile.  Both were charged with breaking or entering, criminal trespass, and possession of marijuana.  Monk was also charged with a foreign warrant.  Both Monk and the juvenile were transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility.
