PRESCOTT – Flywheel Pies/ICM hosted a community coffee Thursday morning.

The event was well attended, and patrons learned the business has a problem most businesses would love – more orders than they can keep up with. Steven Hit, general manager, said Flywheel Pies is selling more than 2,400 cases of pies a month with the demand growing. Recently the company began offering a pecan pie. Hit said they simply can’t make enough to meet the demand. Flywheel’s also has a seasonal pie out, pumpkin, which is also being demanded by customers.

Hit said the business needs to add another shift to keep up, but that’s not possible at this time. He added, the current location at the old McRae Middle School cafeteria, has been a good thing as the former location simply wasn’t large enough.
