Artist in Education program up and running

HOPE – The Artist in Education program is up and running in Hope Schools for the 2018-19 school year.

Mary Overton, a regular artist in residence selection for the SWAAC and the school district,  conducted classes on “still life” pencil drawing and “texture” for more than 200 students at HAPS and Yerger schools.

The AIE program is a cooperative effort of the Arkansas Arts Council, the Hope Schools and SWAAC.
