HPD incident reports
On November 1, at approximately 2am, officers of the Hope Police Department received a call regarding an aggravated robbery located in the 1600 block of North Hervey Street, also referred to as Motel 6 in Hope.
No arrests have been made. Detectives are investigating this incident.
On November 1, at approximately 5pm officers of the Hope Police Department responded to a call in reference to a disturbance, located in the 800 block of Henry C. Yerger Street, in Hope, Arkansas.
Upon arrival, officers learned a physical altercation had occurred inside the residence
between four people. During the altercation, two people were cut with a kitchen knife. One person was cut on the neck and a second person cut on the shoulder. Both injured persons were transported to Wadley Regional Medical in Hope by private vehicle. One of the two was later transported by ambulance to Wadley Regional Medical in Texarkana.
Detectives are still investigating this incident and no arrests have been made.
On November 1, at approximately 11pm, officers of the Hope Police Department received a call from the police dispatcher regarding an aggravated robbery located in the 800 block of East Beech Street in Hope.
Officers arrived and learned that a pizza delivery person was attempting to deliver a pizza in the area and was approached by two black males. One of the males who was wearing a grey hoodie, showed the delivery person a handgun and took the food. The second suspect, who was wearing a white and red hoodie, entered the victim’s vehicle and retrieved some items. The victim was the allowed to return to the vehicle and leave the area.
Detectives are still investigating this incident and no arrests have been made.

On October 29, at approximately 7am, officers responded to a call regarding a suspicious vehicle with persons sleeping inside it, located in the 1600 block of South Main Street, also known as Expressway, in Hope, Arkansas.
Officers arrived and made contact with a male and a female who were asleep in the car. A consent search of the vehicle lead to the arrest of Jessica Crow, 38, of Waldo. Crow was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where she was held for a first appearance.
