Cattle Receipts: 1706 Last week: 1995 Last year: 1605
Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 450 lbs 5.00-10.00 higher, over
450 lbs 2.00-5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs 2.00-5.00 higher, over
500 lbs 5.00-8.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls
1.00-2.00 lower.
Supply included 964 feeder calves, 420 yearlings, 75 replacement cows, 228
slaughter cows; 18 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent
English and English crosses; 40 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 20 percent
Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 57 percent steers and
bulls; 43 percent heifers. Near 12 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
