Dates changed for Lions Auction; now Nov. 15-16

PRESCOTT – It is time once again for the Lions Club Annual Christmas Auction.

The auction will be held on Thursday, November 15, and Friday, November 16, beginning at 6 pm each night at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in the Potlatch Building. The decision to hold the auction on consecutive nights was made at a recent club meeting.

As in past years the club will have something for everyone. Some of the items available for auction are: battery valued at $95, Curley Wolf Bench, Curley Wolf helmet autographed by the 2018 Curley Wolf football team, carpet, socket set and tools, Curley Wolf sweatshirt, wooden razorback, 20lb butane bottle, 20 kid sized chairs, battery powered weed eater, a wreath from The Picket Fence, two sets of Klipsch headphones, My Buddy Heater, 120 bags of Red Mulch and lots more.

B & P Lumber Mill donated lumber again this year as well as University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana donating a grill. There will also be many gift certificates, hams, and turkeys.

Don Honea and Steve Hill will be the auctioneers for the event and the club is dedicating its 2018 Lions Club Christmas Auction to Jim Self. He helped us out as an auctioneer for many, many years.

Come on out and join us for the annual Christmas Auction. Concessions will be available. Everyone always has a great time
