Lions move auction to Saturday night

PRESCOTT – During the first night of the Lions Club’s annual auction Thursday night, members of the club decided to change the second night from Friday night back to Saturday night as the club had originally planned.

Initially, the idea was to split the auction, holding it on Thursday and Saturday so Curley Wolf fans could attend or listen to the second round of the high school playoffs. It was later decided to go ahead and have the auction on Friday because the game will be in Clinton and several people wouldn’t be going and could attend the auction instead. Now, the club has decided to go back to its original idea and split the auction to allow those going and listening to the game not to have to choose between it and the auction.

The second night of the auction will be from 6-9 p.m. at the Potlatch Building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.
