Brotherhood of Fulton Team With Brazzels To Help Needy During Holidays

The Brotherhood of Fulton and the Brazzel family have teamed up to help needy families this holiday season. According to Brotherhood CEO Jessie Henry, the Brazzels donate turkeys, hens,and hams for distribution by the Brotherhood. This year the family has underwritten the purchase of 100 hens to be distributed during Thanksgiving. The hens will be purchased from Barry’s in Hope. Duane Brown of Barry’s is shown helping Henry load the first load of hens.
The Brotherhood has been in existence for 35 years. The organization regularly holds two benefit programs a month for people touched by illness, unemployment, or other unexpected setbacks. In addition to founder Jessie Henry, Maurice Henry serves as Vice-president, Dr. Roy Turner serves as Secretary,and Charlie Scroggins serves as Treasurer. Other well-known members include Ernest Brown and Kirk Gray. The is also an affiliated “Sisterhood of Fulton”.
