Randy Cox

Mr. Randy Joe Cox, age 54 of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home in Lewisville. Randy was born in Lewisville, Arkansas on August 24, 1964 to John L. and Syble Peterson Cox. He was employed with the Arkansas Forestry Commission as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Rafter “J” Cowboy Church. Randy served as a full-time reserve sheriff deputy for Lafayette County, as well as a full-time fire chief for the city of Lewisville, Arkansas. He all enjoyed being a full-time carpenter, basically Randy was a “Jack of all trades. Randy is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Linda Toland.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 19 years, Wendy Waller Cox of the home, three sons: Anthony Applegate wife Misty of Spring Hill, Ryan Cox wife Morgan of Nash, TX, Cameron Sundberg wife Amanda of Lewisville, four daughters: Rami Jo Cox Stevens of Lewisville, Robin Cox Toon of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Kelsey Sundberg of Lewisville, and Callie Cox of Lewisville, one brother: Wayne Cox wife Donnia of Patmos and one sister; Mattie Burns of Lewisville, thirteen grandchildren and his “in-laws”; Ben and Jenny Waller and several nieces, nephews, a great host of friends and other family members.

Visitation for Randy is 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Rafter “J” Cowboy Church Hwy. 29 South. Bro. Kenneth Bobo and Terry Evans will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Mt.
