Christmas parade rescheduled

PRESCOTT – Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Prescottt-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas Parade has been rescheduled from Thursday, Dec. 6 to Monday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m.

No one wants a repeat of what happened in 2013, when the parade was held. It should be remembered, the day dawned sunny and bright, with the prediction calling for the weather to remain clear. However, as time drew closer for the parade, the temperature dropped drastically, the skies became cloudy and, by the time the parade started, it was sleeting and snowing. It did, though, make  for an interesting parade, though uncomfortable.
