Tailgaters Nominated For Department of Arkansas Heritage Award

The Pride and Joy of downtown Hope, Tailgaters, has received word the restaurant has been nominated for the 2019 “Arkansas Food Hall of Fame People’s Choice Award”. Co-owner John Caldwell shows off the letter downtown below the iconic Tailgaters sign. Tailgaters was notified of the nomination via mail by Stacy Hurst, Director of the Department of Arkansas Heritage. Finalists will be announced at a news conference January 10th at the Department of Arkansas Heritage in Little Rock. The winner will be named February 25th at the Ron Robinson Theater in Little Rock.
