Fellows charged with battery

HOPE – On December 28, at approximately 9pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Tara D. Fellows, 30, from a residence located in the area of the 400 block of St. George Street, in Hope.

Fellows was charged with Battery 2^nd degree as the result of an incident occurring earlier in the area of 900 East Beech Street in Hope where Fellows is said to have repeatedly struck a person in the face with a closed fist.  The alleged victim is 80 years old.

Fellows was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
