PRESCOTT – The Prescott Police Department is implementing The IRS Tax Set Off this year.

This means that if you owe old fines or have a warrant through the City of Prescott Police Department, your tax return will be taken and used to supplement your fines.

Letters have been sent out informing the citizens who owe of our intent.

If you would like to avoid having your tax returns taken, you need to visit the Prescott Police Department Admin. office in order to get your warrants served or make additional arrangements.
