Hamilton charged with sex offense

HOPE – On January 7, at approximately 9:15 a.m., investigators with the Hope Police Department arrested Marcus Hamilton, 21, of Hope, and charged him with sexual assault in the fourth degree.

The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation into information that Hamilton had sexual contact with a person under the age of sixteen.   Hamilton was escorted to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where he was held for a first appearance.
