Citizen of Year nominations sought

PRESCOTT – Nominations are being sought for the 2019 Citizen of the Year.

Last year Howard Austin received the honor during the annual Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce Banquet. This year, a new winner will be named.

The deadline for submitting a nomination is March 1.

Any resident of Nevada County can make a nomination. The nominees must be a resident of the county or have their business located in the county. Nominations and the reasons why this person should win, must be submitted in writing. A selection committee will judge the nominations based on the following criteria: outstanding service to – family, city, county, state, church related, fraternal, recreational, industrial and educational oriented services.

Nominations must be sent to: Citizen of the Year, c/o Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 443, or 125 E Main, Prescott, AR 71857.

The winner will be named at the annual banquet in April.
