Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 450 lbs 12.00-17.00 higher, over
450 lbs 3.00-9.00 higher. Feeder heifers 6.00-12.00 higher. Slaughter cows
2.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-4.00 higher.
Supply included 205 feeder calves, 53 yearlings, 9 replacement cows, 29
slaughter cows; 6 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 45 percent English
and English crosses; 38 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 17 percent Brahman
and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 62 percent steers and bulls; 38
percent heifers. Near 15 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
