Cattle Receipts: 1106 Last week: 302 Last year: 1279
Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00-9.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady
to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-4.00
higher.
Supply included 680 feeder calves, 320 yearlings, 30 replacement cows, 69
slaughter cows; 7 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent English
and English crosses; 38 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 22 percent Brahman
and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 56 percent steers and bulls; 44
percent heifers. Near 15 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
