Cole arrested on drug charges
HOPE – On Wednesday, February 13, at approximately 1 p.m., agents with the 8th North Task Force, Hope Police, and Hempstead County Deputies executed a search warrant on a residence located at 1712 W. Ave B. Street, in Hope.
Agents recovered a defaced .380 Caliber Handgun (serial number filed off), digital scales, bag containing suspected Methamphetamine glass pipe, camera and video surveillance equipment, two monitors, $220 in cash, two other handguns and several rounds of 9mm ammunition.
Tommy Cole was charged with possession with purpose to deliver (Methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, maintaining a drug premises, unlawful use of communication device, (three counts) delivery of Methamphetamine and possession of a defaced firearm. Cole was turned over to the on-duty jail staff, and will be held for a first appearance.
