Nazarene Church hosts coffee
PRESCOTT – It was coffee time Tuesday morning with the First Nazarene Church of Prescott this week’s host.
Terrie Bugg, pastor, welcomed everyone, saying the church wants to get the word out it’s here and wants to be part of the community. As such, she said, the church plans to have a community garden, where people can plant vegetables and share the produce later on. Were it not for the rain, she told those gathered, the ground would have already been prepared.
Last year, she said, the church had a small garden to see how the soil would produce and it did well. This year, the garden will be staked off. Seeds and equipment are being gathered for the garden. The public is welcome to participate.
