PRESCOTT – The Prescott-Nevada County Chamber’s Business of the Month for March is the Bank of Delight.

Incorporated in 1911, the Bank of Delight’s lineage has been shaped by many events over the last century, including stock market crashes, the great depression, world wars, and most recently the great recession. Through these historically difficult times, the Bank of Delight has become one of the oldest and most respected banks in Arkansas. The bank’s strong reputation is based upon its financial stability and community leadership and its customers knowing they can depend on the bank in the good times and the bad.

The locally owned bank offers a wide range of financial services; deposit accounts, consumer and commercial loans, safety deposit boxes, debit cards, internet banking, and credit cards, just to name a few. The Bank of Delight has three full service locations, Delight, Prescott, and Gurdon and employs 27 people, including CEO Darwin Hendrix, President Vince Grimes, and Executive Vice President Shane Meador. Under Hendrix’s leadership, the Bank of Delight has grown from $7.5 million in assets to currently over $135 million in assets. The Bank of Delight would like to thank our customers, past, present, and future for giving the “Biggest Little Bank in Arkansas” an opportunity to assist you with your financial needs.

In honor of being designated the business of the month, the bank will be hosting the Chamber Coffee on March 12th from 9:30am to 11:00am at the Prescott location. Everyone is welcomed.
